New Zine: All My Moms Are Movies Now

Welcome back to My Favorite F***ing Movie! It’s been six weeks since I last posted, so it’s understandable if you forgot I existed. Due to a death in the family, I’ve gotten off to kind of a slow start here this year, but I’m back now with a brand new treat: a digital zine. I’ve been in the mood to do something a little more visual for a while now, and I’ve been super inspired by Rachel Moss’s digital zine Ephemeral Archive, so this is going to be my little project this year. I still might write longer essays, and I’ll be posting guest essays as well, so you’ll still get your fix. But I hope you’ll enjoy this new thing, too! I’m getting it out before the end of the month by the absolute skin of my teeth.

Because of the time these zines take, and because I’d like a little more freedom to write about certain topics without feeling like the entire world is looking, future issues will be behind a paywall. First one’s free. Click here to read it!

I’m Claire, an Elgin Award-nominated poet – for my book of poetry, I Am Not Your Final Girl – and writer from Philadelphia, currently living in Los Angeles. My writing explores stigmatized issues at the junction of feminism, sexuality, and horror.
