Zine Issue #3: Girlhood, whimsy, & the end of innocence

Welcome back to another issue of All My Moms Are Movies Now, a zine about sexuality and identity through the lens of film. This month’s theme is whimsy, girlhood, and the end of innocence – if you were ever a Francesca Lia Block girly or identified with Dawn Wiener from Welcome to the Dollhouse (girlhood is a spectrum, y’all), then this one’s for you.

I went a little nuts and this turned into a double issue… 20 pages instead of the usual 12 or so. Turns out I have a lot to say about girlhood, and this one gets personal. I really hope you enjoy it because I had such a great time making it.

Read it here.
