Zine #4: The Mother’s Day Issue

Welcome back to another issue of All My Moms Are Movies Now, a zine about sexuality and identity through the lens of film. This month is the Mother’s Day Issue… monstrous motherhood, to be exact. I’m channeling my best Annie Graham, talking the greatest moms in horror, and recommending the most traumatic mother-horror movies.

And if you aren’t a paid subscriber, don’t worry. I have more free essays and guest posts on the way. You can also read the first issue of the zine for free.

Finally, and I wish it didn’t need to be said, but I do not use generative AI and I will never use it – to make these zines or anything else. GenAI is eating brains, for real, so protect yourselves out there.

Inside this issue

  • A personal essay on Hereditary (2018)
  • Hereditary-inspired posters
  • Slowly Spiraling Housewives: A Letterboxd List
  • The Best Moms in Horror
  • Annie: A Poem
