Zine #5: The Pride Issue

Welcome back to another issue of All My Moms Are Movies Now, a zine about sexuality and identity through the lens of film. This month’s issue is, of course, the Pride Month Issue – we’re talking gay crushes, bisexual icons, the hottest queer films for summer, and more.

As always, the zine is for paid subscribers only – if you’re not one yet, I hope you’ll consider joining us. Either way, though, have no fear; I have a guest post coming this month you won’t want to miss, and I’ll be doing another monthly what-I-watched roundup. You can also read the first issue of the zine for free. Finally, if you didn’t read my Pride Month essay last year, you might be interested in checking that out.

This is also your reminder that I’m a queer (bisexual) writer, and you can support my writing by subscribing to this newsletter or buying my book of poetry, I Am Not Your Final Girl.

Inside this issue

  • Valentine: A Poem
  • I’ll Be Your Unicorn, Baby: On Bisexual Crushes
  • Bi-cons: Bisexual Baddies & Bad Bisexuals
  • Hot Queers for Summer: My Personal Favorite Hot & Queer Films

Click here to read, and if you enjoy, please consider subscribing.

I’m Claire, an Elgin Award-nominated poet – for my book of poetry, I Am Not Your Final Girl – and writer from Philadelphia, currently living in Los Angeles. My writing explores stigmatized issues at the junction of feminism, sexuality, and horror.
